Jurriaan Cleuver studied Dutch law (2006) at Leiden University, where he specialized in intellectual property law. During his study, his main focus was on company law, and more particularly on intellectual property law. As well as to trademark and design law, he took an optional course in copyright law. His masters thesis was published as an article in Dutch copyright magazine AMI, titled 'Performing rights of conductors and directors'.
In addition, Jurriaan has worked as a company lawyer at a film distribution company, during which he gained more experience in the field of intellectual property law.
Jurriaan is a member of the Benelux Association for Trademarks and Designs (BMM) and also forms part of the editorial staff of VEREENIGDE's newsletter.
