Kim Tan studied industrial design engineering (1987) at Delft University of Technology. As a patent attorney, Kim has particular experience in the fields of office equipment, medical technology, dairy farm equipment and computer implemented inventions. His activities include counseling on patent policy and in application proceedings, opposition proceedings and litigation Kim has published on software and business method patents and is involved in the training of junior attorneys. For VEREENIGDE, he is Head of the section Mechanics, Physics and Electronics and Head of the branch office in Groningen.
