Maron Galama studied civil law (1995) at Leiden University with a specialization in the Intellectual Property field. She has obtained considerable expertise in the field of the filing and prosecution of trademark and design applications worldwide. Maron is involved in several network groups within the region. In addition, she is member of the Legislation Commission of the Benelux Association for Trademarks and Designs (BMM). She is also member of the Design Committee and Personal Affairs Committee of the European Community Trademark Association (ECTA) and member of the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI). Moreover, she is a guest lecturer on Intellectual Property at the Design Academy Eindhoven.
