Tamara Elmore obtained a PhD in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2002 and a Masters in Advanced Studies in Intellectual Property Law from the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zürich, Switzerland in 2005. Before joining VEREENIGDE, Tamara worked in the patent department of a major pharmaceutical company in Switzerland and as a United States Patent Agent in the corporate department of an IP firm in Boston.
